Remember how we used to recite Mother Goose rhymes to our children and gave no thought to the content? Read It Once Again includes a Mother Goose rhyme with each literary unit. We have found that Mother Goose rhymes are a powerful tool for initiating receptive and expressive language. Children request for them to be repeated over and over again. Instead of not using certain rhymes because of the questionable content, we have taken the liberty to rephrase some of the words to be child-friendly.
